A protected shoreline property with real heritage value, and a market that expects new-build gloss. Overbranding it would have read as a costume.
ION was brought in across the full scope so the restoration decisions and the way the project was presented stayed in step.

Architectural Design
Intervention was kept to what the structure needed: services, thermal performance and a rear extension that reads as clearly contemporary rather than imitating the original.
Identity
The identity borrows from the building's own detailing rather than inventing a mark. Set in a single weight, it stays deliberately understated against the shoreline photography.
Visualization
Photography carried more weight than CGI here, since the building exists. Renders were reserved for the extension and the restored interiors.
Digital
The site leads with the building's history before it sells anything, and the enquiry flow is deliberately slow — this is a small number of units and a long decision.
